Lake Como

Thanks to its ancient and natural beauty, Lake Como is becoming one of Italy's most coveted destinations, thanks to its landscapes, history, and culture. However, this does not mean its charm has gone unnoticed until now—quite the opposite! Since Roman times, it has hosted the wealthy and aristocratic, and its popularity has been continually growing, earning it the title of the most beautiful lake in the world in 2014 by the Huffington Post, thanks to its enviable microclimate and its surroundings dotted with prestigious villas. Its landscapes are so enchanting that they served as the backdrop for the love story of Renzo and Lucia in Alessandro Manzoni's famous novel The Betrothed

Whether visited in summer or winter, the Lake Como area offers activities suitable for every season, charming villages, ancient traditions, and a rich culinary culture to discover. Thanks to these qualities, the lake is a comprehensive and suitable destination for everyone.
