Founded in 1907 by four English gentlemen, led by banker and first president Henry John Mylius.

An important English-style restyling was initiated in 1965 by then-president Antonio Ronconi, who relied on the creative flair of architect John Harris, still evident in the club’s architecture today.

The golf course features 18 holes with a total par of 70: 9 original holes plus another 9 added in 1919.
